About these qualifications (Scheme 7712)
Get ahead in Marketing! These practical professional qualifications will show your employer and customers that you have specialist marketing and all round project management skills to get the job done. These qualifications are designed for marketing professionals – from Level 2 for those who are just starting out, to the Certificate and Diploma at Level 3 for marketing leaders and executives.

Level 2 NVQ in Marketing
Level 2 Certificate will suit you if you have some relevant knowledge and skills, usually from some role where you may have been supervised. You are looking to increase these in order to progress in your career – Level 2 is a good choice.
This qualification comprises mandatory and optional units, which allow you to tailor content to suit your needs. Your 4 mandatory units set the scene for the optional units of which you will select 3 units from a range of 9 unit titles.
Level 2 Mandatory include: Collecting and organising market research data, and a unit on improving your own performance in a business environment.
Level 3 Certificate in Marketing
Level 3 NVQ will suit you if you are working with little supervision when completing tasks, organising activities and contributing to decision-making.
These comprise mandatory and optional units, which allow you to tailor content to suit your needs.
Your 4 mandatory units set the scene for the optional units of which you select 4 to 6 units from a range of 38 unit titles.
Level 3 Mandatory include: Contribute to the development of a marketing plan and requires you “Work with other people in a business environment”.

Candidates progress onto the ILMQualifications with a range of units designed to fit their marketing work role.

Please Note
City & Guilds Certificates or Diplomas require all units to be achieved within 3 years of commencing your learner journey. Minimum time scale allowed is spread over 12 weeks.
Accreditation of Prior Achievement is allowed for evidence within the last 3 years.
